BECOMING A PATIENT
FAQs

We want you to understand that the care we provide is different. We help you address chronic health concerns by addressing the causes of illness, rather than just the symptoms. We work with you, collaboratively as a team, to help you on your journey towards wellness.

How do I contact you?

Our reception is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and we have 24/7 telephone coverage enabling up to keep up-to-date with client’s needs.  Many clients often prefer to email us for faster response time or convenience. We will always get back to you if you leave a message. Most patients recognize that we are dedicated to their welfare and that our level of care at the time of your appointment continues when you leave our practice and exceed that of other clinics. We serve you at your point of need, and not on our agenda, therefore we work with you to provide what you are looking for.

Do you take insurance?

The Plexus Clinic does not accept insurance or Medicare, and we do not file insurance paperwork on your behalf. However, we will provide you with coded receipts which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  Most of our patients find that reimbursement will be equal to the invoice minus their usual co-pay, or in some cases full reimbursement although this varies from company to company. Some insurance carriers may cover medical services and laboratory tests. Payment in full by check, cash or credit card is due at the time services are provided.

How much does it cost?

Your initial consultation, adjustment and stress assessment with Dr. MacDonald is $350, plus any supplementation that you may test for.  Follow-up appointments are $110.  Initial Digestive Health Analysis is $145, and other natural health appointments range from $40–$80.

We recognize that times are financially challenging, and we aim to run a fiscally conservative practice in order to keep our charges down. We endeavor to provide a high quality of individualized care, as economically as possible and for that reason we keep our overhead to the minimum possible.
